At around 1pm ET on Monday, the user profile creation flow began returning an error message. After replicating the error on an iOS device at 7pm, the error was diagnosed as a backend configuration error. Once the configuration was corrected, user profile creation was successfully executed on the same iOS device that was used to replicate it. No similar errors have appeared in the logs since.
